Dozens of pupils visited today the Technical Science Arena during the Iasi Science Festival, an event held by the 鈥淕heorghe Asachi鈥 Technical University of Iasi in the Hall of the Echoing Steps.
During this event, all of the 11 faculties from the Technical University will host o series of spectacular experiments and simulation in the Technical Science Arena.
The Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology will demonstrate how to remotely control a robot, as well as exhibit a motion detection device able to duplicate a person鈥檚 gestures on a computer.
The Faculty of Mechanics will bring walking robots and facial expression detection robots, controlled by mobile phone.
Beside several devices awarded by various inventics exhibitions, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Energetics and Applied Informatics will show the Sumo Robot, designed to detect and eliminate other robots.
